One of my biggest programming inspirations, and to NixOS, and Neovim as a whole. I've learnt quite a lot from their and our adventures. Also someone who I've trusted for months at this point. Also has one of the best comeback storys I was a part of.

One of the first people I knew from before I even came up with "amadaluzia". They are still a really good friend that I have had for years now, and one of the best speedrunners I know. I feel like I don't mention him enough, so as recompense, I added him to this page to honor him.

The one australian IT enthusiast who I talk to very often. I found them through the Linux community and we both share a lot of themes, such as liking literature, IT of course, etc. Moreover, he's a very cool person to talk to, with heaps of experience in what he does.

Awesome programmer puppygirl I encountered via the Linux community. She has given me a server that I use as a VPN a lot of the time, and she can also write her own webserver, and discord API libraries and bots using it, and she has done it all in either Zig or C++. She is also a very nice person in general.

A lot of what I know about security comes through them. They also work on Void Linux, updating packages that are significantly out of date. Ultimately, they are dedicated to their craft, and it *does* show. Other than that, they are a pretty nice and fun person to talk to.

A única pessoa eu conheço que fala português na internet. Aside from that, it is also a really silly and funny person I got to know from the Linux community. They are also decently experienced in Gentoo Linux, C, self-hosting, etc.

A very proficient OpenBSD/GNU Emacs user I've come to know. She has previously hosted my main IRC bouncer until I started using XMPP again, and got around to using Biboumi. Moreover, I got into Lisp dialects like Common Lisp and Clojure through her. I also find her to be an enternaining and knowledgeable person to be around.

Foreign state actor of unknown origin. They are one of the fun people I talk to in the Matrix community a lot, and is probably the more anonymity-consious people I know. They've been supportive during times I've talked about mental health related incidents, and have shared really good insight to me in the past. I've known them since I myself have joined the community and don't recall any negative experiences with them.

This demoness singlehandedly crashed my DRM, smashed my Matrix chat backup keys, caused a power outage, and made me forget to bring a bag when going to the Tesco in one day (2026-05-02). Aside from that, I also met this critter through Matrix, and she has been insightful, kind and comforting, I am glad I had the honor of knowing her. She's advised me during some mental health struggles and I have her to thank that I don't completely struggle with self-worth.

I consider a lot of people to be good friends, so I won't be able to list a lot of them here without this page getting massive. These are people I talk to often, or I have not talked to in a while but consider them a special type of friend. I am accepting to anyone who don't appear to be completely rude, so feel free to talk to me!
