I'm Artur Manuel, a student, and self-taught FOSS developer living in Cambridge, England. I'm currently studying for my BTEC in IT while spending my time writing software. I have experience in quite a few technologies as per my detours and am able to figure out complex subjects quickly. I am also very social and you can see me in many online circles across FOSS and other communities. I have a very strong knack for computers, which has also led me to system administration, programming and hardware consulting, on which I practice against myself. I use Alpine Linux on all of my machines, but I have contributed to NixOS, OpenBSD, Void Linux and FreeBSD, as well as used many other operating systems in the past.

I also have an interest in many genres of music, including nerdcore, shoegaze and other genres I just so happen to want to listen to that day. I also partake in politics, on which I lean with left-wing economics while practicing libertarian values. Additionally, I also partake in writing, media, and other cultures, communities and classes. I plan on participating further in the nerdcore community as I have genuine intrigue within that genre, but I am also willing to visit other communities.

I aim to produce desktop setups which maximise default behaviour, and monitoring of real-time statistics in my window manager, editor and the real life, while minimising distractions. This allows me to work efficiently while knowing when to go to bed, or when to use a new line during writing. I also aim to use tools that are already within my reach such as Waybar, Fuzzel and other programs, for the sake of simplicity.
